We had a rainy evening last night so I was inspired to paint this quick little rainy view of Black Mountain on the Tohono O'odham Reservation from Mission Road near my house.

The Anza Trail book
I'm currently writing and illustrating a book on the Anza Expedition.
Anza explored the west coast of the U.S. and founded the city of San Francisco in 1776 - the same year the colonists declared independence from England on the east coast.
